PBM Therapy or LLLT is a technology, which has been proven to be remarkably safe, painless and effective in treating both acute injuries and chronic pain of various kinds.
It has been particularly helpful in stubborn, persistent, and “difficult-to-treat” conditions, including chronic pain, arthritis, plantar fasciitis and other joint and muscle pains. The laser gives us the ability to improve level of safe, non-invasive, drug free pain relief and accelerate healing.
PEMF can be used to ease chronic pain, accelerate recovery, recharge ions in cells, help recover from workouts and experience total body relaxation.
PEMF grounds you in earth’s magnetic field for a full body reset, while Infrared’s deeply penetrating heat doubles your dose. The mat sends electromagnetic waves through your body at different frequencies to help promote your body’s own recovery process.
Microcurrent therapy includes treatments for pain, diabetic neuropathy, wound healing, tendon repair, plantar fasciitis, ruptured ligament recovery, etc. Most microcurrent treatments concentrate on pain and/or speeding up healing and recovery. It is commonly used by professional and performance athletes with acute pain and/or muscle tenderness as it is drug-free and non-invasive. This is a great alternative for CRPS and chronic pain patients.
The vagus nerve regulates sympathetic and parasympathetic responses. The sympathetic nervous system drives the "fight or flight" response in stressful situations, while the parasympathetic nervous system manages our “rest and digest” state.
Working with the vagus nerve allows us to work with the parasympathetic side of your autonomic nervous system.
Biofeedback is the process of gaining greater awareness of physiological functions of your own body with the goal of being able to manipulate the body's systems at will. There are several forms of Biofeedback - we use HRV, or Heart Rate Variability. HRV is a measure of the beat-to-beat changes in heart rate and as a marker of physiological resilience & behavioral flexibility, it reflects our ability to adapt effectively to stress and environmental demands.
EMDR is a psychological treatment for various conditions that helps enable people to heal from symptoms and emotional distress that are the result of various traumas. EMDR therapy shows the mind that it can in fact heal from emotional trauma just as the body recovers from physical trauma. Essentially, taking the emotional charge out of past events.
Peptides are naturally occurring short chains of amino acids used to transport essential nutrients and prevent illness.
Studies have shown peptides intensely speed up the healing of many different types of tissues—from muscles, tendons, and ligaments to gut and even brain tissue.
Peptides can increase the speed of wound healing, increase flexibility, reduce inflammation, enhance cell migration, and improve bone growth.
Hypnosis is a changed state of awareness and increased relaxation that allows for improved focus and concentration. It also is called hypnotherapy.
In the last 15 years, hypnosis for pain management has been exhaustively studied and researchers have been able to prove that changes actually take place in the brain while under hypnosis. It has been proven to help with chronic pain, anxiety, stress, depression and more.
Neuroplasticity is the brain's amazing capacity to change and adapt. The ability of the nervous system to adapt to trauma or disease; the ability of nerve cells to grow and form new connections to other neurons.
